Hooked on Murder (midday update)

At lunch, I finished Hooked on Murder by Betty Hechtman, the first of the Crochet Murder Mystery series. (#2, Dead Men Don't Crochet, is due out in December.) It was a fun read, went quickly, and, for once, I *didn't* figure it all out right before the end, even though, looking back, the clues were there. The red herrings are done *very* well.



I also discovered Killer Hobbies, a blog by all seven of the crafting murder mystery authors out there. In trying to think of a series of my own, I realized I have one... so, on top of all the other plans for the weekend, it may be time to start writing again. Whee?
