Woodlawn Loot, Pt. 2

So, the second kit I got at In Stitches was a Jim Shore/Mill Hill Beads. Started it Tuesday.

As of Thursday afternoon, all the stitching is done and it's ready for beads:

Woodlawn Loot, Pt. 1

Went to see the 53rd Annual Woodlawn Needlework Exhibition and Sale today. The "sale" part is new, and it was nice to see people pricing their work appropriately (i.e., thousands of dollars for hundreds of hours of work).

Can't take photos, of course, but it's worth the trip, a lot of the pieces are stunning!!

Woodlawn means it was also the annual trip to In Stitches. I ended up getting four pieces, the first of which is a little Scottish  sheep coaster kit:

I borrowed mom's thread minder while I was getting started:

Got most of the border done before bedtime. More tomorrow!
