Masters Monday: Very Little To Report

Okay, three day weekend should result in a whole lot of work done, right? Well, I *did* run a wee bit amok with the errands. Friday, there was a huge list of errands (which included hitting JoAnn Fabrics to get yarn for The Hat - I've decided to make a red-and-white stripe-with-pompom a la Waldo). Saturday, there was the Massive Bedroom Reorganization, which trailed into Sunday, but left just enough time to hit Michael's (to use a coupon to get a new needlework-hold-y stand so my left shoulder will stop seizing up).

What with all the moving of things, I didn't get a lot done on the Masters. I did get swatches 1, 2 and 4 to the point that I'm satisfied I can't do any better without some serious luck coming into play. I learned the Cable Cast On (um - the Vogue Knitting Quick Reference Guide? GET IT. Just $11.73 plus shipping on Overstock.com), remembered to pull everything tight on the ribbing, got so I can do a mostly invisible lifted increase in ribbing, and found a new way to do a basic bind off that works better for me.

I do, however, have a visible bedroom floor.
