So much yarn, so VERY much wrong...

Okay, how many things can you find wrong with this picture (from the recent Harriet Carter catalog)??

Whoever finds the most things wrong gets a Genuine No-Prize!

  1. Let's see:

Obviously crocheted blanket (Well, that's not wrong, but it is important to the actual wrong).

Model has knitting needles in the obviously crocheted blanket.

Model is holding the knitting needles wrong.

There are five or six active strands of yarn going there. Maybe if that was something Fair Isle.

That shot was obviously blocked by someone who has no idea about fiber arts at all.

  2. So my first reaction. But that's crochet. Why is she holding knitting needles.

    Followed by
    - Holding knitting needles the wrong way
    - Too many strands coming out of the "bin thing" even IF she was somehow magically making granny squares while knitting with the needles in the same hand.
-there is no actual working area where all these strands are going they just sort of vanish.
    Just no.

  3. I love must be because it's wednesday but that is the funniest thing I've seen in awhile.

  4. Totally bizarre! It's a crochet blanket. Too many strands of yarn, she might as well be an octopus! Knitting or crocheting around that container handle would surely lead to some knotting and mayhem!
