What I saw this weekend...

Today, it's not a "what I read", but "what I saw". I won't do these unless they're pretty special - and, once a year, the Academy Award-Nominated Animated Short Films come to town.


This year, most were fantastic. The "Honorable Mentions" - the three bonuses - are okay (one cute, one sad, one just flat-out odd), but the ones up for the award are pretty darned good. I'm torn between "The Lady and Death" and "Grandmother Grimm's Sleeping Beauty" for the ones I want to win; the Wallace & Grommit adventure probably will.
